In the Fall of 2000, a group of friends with a passion for cars came together to create a crew of import cars. These individuals from Atlanta collectively joined together and decided to become a car crew; soon to be recognized as Midnight Racing. Midnight Racing consisted of just 10 lightly modified cars in the latest model cars that were available at the time.
With an "underground" status, we slowly developed little modifications here and there in hopes of coming out strong when the time came. As the year passed and 2002 approaching, we decided to shine up the crew a little bit by changing our name and recruiting new cars with new faces. Coming out in the show season in late 2002, XLR8SHEN (acceleration) began to put their name out on the local streets of Atlanta. Slowly but surely, XLR8SHEN became one of the most well known teams in Atlanta. Till this very day, XLR8SHEN still strives to become one of the best Atlanta import car clubs by showing at car shows and competing in races at the track in order to gain the respect from others. Our love for cars and motivation to keep our cars updated has helped us in becoming what we are known as today. Our unity and respect we have for each other has kept XLR8SHEN strong for 6 years as well as the years to come.
Today, the majority of us are college students. We hang out together during the week with "family" eat outs, partying as well as attending shows during the show season. We try to attend as many shows as possible in hopes of making XLR8SHEN known to the import scene. We are not so much into getting out there to win anything; we're just going out there to meet new people and have some fun. XLR8SHEN is a car club, a family, and simply just a group of motivated individuals.

Now if you're interested in XLR8SHEN, contact us with a list of your mods and pictures of your car. Also include a paragraph about what makes you want to join us.
When you do get voted in, you should still have the motivation to modify your car as well as the will to put the club name out either at a show or at a track.
